WMRMC provides a caring environment in which every person, including the poor and most vulnerable members of our community, can receive medical attention. Yet when we look into our hearts, we understand there is more that we can do. So, we extend the care we provide to our communities beyond the work we do in our facility. We participate with several organizations in our efforts to reach out. A few examples of this work include:

  • Round Valley High School Fine Arts & Northland Pioneer College's NAVIT Student of the Month is a program to recognize students who are dedicated to each program, are involved with their program inside and outside of school, desire to make improvements in their program, and demonstrate good citizenship.

  • Communities Coalition for Wellness was formed to improve the health and quality of life for community residents. This program reduces the incidence and severity of chronic disease and obesity through physical activity and nutrition interventions.

  • Healthcare Fights Hunger, through which WMRMC has collected over 1,000 items for the local food bank, Round Valley Cares, in June 2013.

  • Community Health and Safety Fair provides a day to take advantage of health screenings, while gathering information about services offered in the community.

  • Ramsey Park Renovation, through which WMRMC donated funds for the town of Eagar's renovation project. The renovation project has provided an up-to-date park for all ages to enjoy.
