Materials Management Manager

Type: Full-time

The Manager of Material Management is responsible for the managerial leadership necessary to assure the efficient operations of all aspects of day-to-day operations of the department. Through collaboration with all members of the health-care team, strives to create a positive patient centered culture; and a culture where the staff is encouraged to grow in knowledge and skills to further the quality care provided at WMRMC. Under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer/Financial Coordinator exercises considerable judgement in applying professional knowledge in implementing the purchase of supplies, materials, and equipment at the optimal price and delivery cycle while maintaining the lowest possible inventory levels utilizing all available resources and directs purchasing activities accordingly. 

Full-Time With Benefits

Required Education
High School Diploma or equivalent

Required Experience
Five (5) years' experience in purchasing within a healthcare environment
Two (2) years supervisor or manager experience

Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelors’ Degree in related field
