Since 1995, White Mountain Regional Medical Center has received State funding to establish a community-based primary care program for low income and uninsured persons. The goal of the Primary Care Program is to provide personal health care services that promote wellness and prevent disease.
Covered services includes:
- Primary Care Provider visits
- Well child services
- Preventive care services
- Health education and referral
- Laboratory & radiology diagnostic services
- Pharmacy services
- Limited prenatal care services
- Limited dental services
Program members are responsible for a co-payment for all services rendered by healthcare
providers. Co-payments are based upon household income evaluations. Co-payments
vary, depending upon the type of service provided.
