Board of Directors

White Mountain Regional Medical Center’s volunteer Board of Directors is comprised of experienced community leaders within the Medical Center’s service area and are dedicated to fulfilling WMRMC’s mission.

Gary Davis, Board President
Mr. Davis is currently a dedicated employee with Tucson Electric Power Company and has worked at the Springerville Generating Station for 24 years as the Business Services Director.

Mary Nedrow, Board Vice-President
Mrs. Nedrow has been employed with the United States Postal Service since 1985 and is currently the Postmaster of the Eagar, Arizona Post office. She has recently concluded her service as the Mayor of Springerville, Arizona and continues her service to the community as an active member of the Round Valley School Board.

Dr. Nadia Comvaluis, Secretary/Treasurer
Dr. Comvaluis is a retired Physician having provided Ob/Gyn services to White Mountain Regional Medical Center’s service area.

Dr. Scott Hamblin, Director
Dr. Hamblin is the proud owner of the Mountain Avenue Clinic which employs three other healthcare providers.

John Fredericksen, Director
Mr. Fredericksen is a retired Chief Master Sergeant from the United States Air Force. After retirement he served as the Manager and Contract Administrator for DynCorp on Department of Defense contracts and later as the Human Resource Manager at WMRMC. John continues to serve the community volunteering as an AARP Local Tax Aide.

Delwin Wengert, Director
Mr. Wengert has been a dedicated employee with Apache County since 1994. He served diligently as the County Engineer until May, 1998 when he then assumed the duties as the County Manager as well as Clerk of the Board of Supervisors.

Dr. Jim Sielski, Chief of Staff
Dr. Sielski is presently employed as a family physician with North Country HealthCare in St. Johns and serves as the Chief of Medical Staff for WMRMC.

Elaine Freshour, Director
Elaine retired from Lucent Technologies, Bell Laboratories, a high tech Research & Development company after 30 years of service. Her career started at White Sands Missile Range working on missile and radar system development followed by assignments on Kwajalein in the Marshall Islands, New Jersey, and North Dakota. The last 14 years of her career with Bell Labs she was an engineer, developing software for telephone switching systems at their facility near Chicago. Since retiring and moving to Reserve, NM, she served on the Board of Directors for the Area Agency on Aging (AAonA) for 4 years, Board of Directors for senior services in Catron County for 13 years, & for the last 9 years she has served on the Advisory Council for senior services for 32 of the 33 counties in NM. She has served in every position on all these boards from member to chairman.
